My Approach:
Couple sessions (engagement, anniversary, maternity, or “just because” sessions) are the best because not only do you get professional photographs . . . but you get to have a blast with your soul mate. I have a couple tricks up my sleeve that will have you both genuinely laughing. I love when couples dress and choose a location true to who they are as a couple. Let’s go hiking, jump in a boat, snowshoe, or get dressed up - I’ll follow along with my camera wherever you are!
WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Wear what you usually do with a little extra attention to hair and make-up. For my own engagement session I wore my favorite pair of jeans and sweater with my hair/make-up professionally done. Evan wore his Red Wing boots and the jeans he wears basically everyday. I do suggest a more formal option to change into . . . such as a long dress or heels, because heck, it’s a photo-shoot!
Should we bring anything?
Again, stay true to who you are!
Are you dog people? Bring along your furry family member.
Is your favorite date night pizza and beer? Let’s order a pizza and bring a cooler of beer!
Do you both love camping? Let’s head to a campground and start a bonfire.
