Buh-Bye White Woodland

White Woodland was my old brand and website. I remember coming up with this name while sitting on the couch with my roommates in college. I wanted to specialize in weddings and attract clients that were planning beautiful weddings outside. And, it worked! Many of my past couples told me that they picked me over other photographers based on my business name.

Now I’m lovingly putting the name “White Woodland” into my box of memories, and I’m excited to announce my rebrand to “Ashley Bohman.”

Why? Well, the idea initially started when there was confusion on how referrals would find me. Past clients would refer “Ashley” and future clients would have trouble finding me. Should they search “Ashley” or “White Woodland”?

Then last year I really started to love lifestyle photography. I loved the challenge of creating artistic shots within people’s homes and documenting the moments that are everyday in people’s lives (at least right now).

Lastly, as a photographer, I feel people book ME when they hire me to create photographs for them (at least I hope so). So why not attach my name?

And then . . I got married in September 2018! I really wanted to launch my new website shortly after my wedding with my new married name but . . . planning a wedding is a lot of work! Haha

So, I thought the start of the new decade is the next best thing. Welcome to Ashley Bohman!
